3D Printing by Kaiser3D

Eden260 PolyJet Rapid Prototype 3D printerKaiser3D provides high resolution Rapid Prototype parts using the Objet PolyJet 3D printer rapid prototype technology and the full line of Selective Laser Sintering rapid prototype materials.  We take your 3-Dimensional Stereolithography (STL) part files, slice them into 2-Dimensional bitmap images, then print one on top of the other using a high accuracy  additive manufacturing process called 3D Printing, or Rapid Prototyping, sometimes referred to as Additive Fabrication.  PolyJet 3D model parts are high accuracy, high surface resolution, strong functional acrylic prototypes made using the patented 3D Printing Technology, the PolyJet, and are rated #1 in the industry for use as Silicone and Urethane molding master patterns.  PolyJet parts also offer superior surface detail and fit.  We also offer a full range of Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) rapid prototyping services for your extreme applications where a super high tensile strength is required.  You can view the full line of PolyJet and Selective Laser Sintering materials by clicking here:  Process & Materials.

Rapid Prototyping, or 3D Printing, is used in product development for designers and engineers to test out ideas for new products cheaply before committing to expensive tooling and manufacturing processes.  Because the Polyjet is a 3D printer technology, parts have superior surface resolution.  The #1 compliment of PolyJet rapid prototype parts is the surface quality nearly resembles the computer design image.  Preparation of the PolyJet 3D prototype used as master patterns for urethane or silicone molding applications is minimal and is the strongest suit of the Polyjet rapid prototyping technology.

PolyJet 3D models are made from hard acrylics, flexible acrylics, and flexible rubbers. The 3D model can then be used for: visual design analysis; silicone or urethane molding master patterns; functional testing; casting patterns; or a final end product part.  Toolmakers compliment the PolyJet 3D printer technology because of the extremely low RMS surface quality that eliminates tooling marks when used in the lost wax process.

CAPABILITIES

KAISER 3D is the most experienced PolyJet 3D Printing service provider in the industry because we are owned  by a former Objet PolyJet Field/Applications Engineer.  We have PolyJet 3D Printer capability on site consisting of the Eden500V systems PolyJet Eden500V 3D printer, build size area of 500mm (19.7") in the X axis, 400mm (15.7") in the Y axis and 200mm (7.9") for the Z axis.  Print resolution of 600dpi in the X axis, 600dpi in Y axis, and 1600dpi in the Z axis with High Quality and High Speed quality modes.  The PolyJet rubber materials are ranked the best materials in the rapid prototype industry today.

BENEFITS

With over 14 years experience in customer service in the PolyJet and Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) rapid prototype community as a Field/Applications Engineer, Kaiser3D is the only service provider that has the capability to professionally maintain and calibrate their on site rapid prototype printers. This means 100% "up time" for our systems which translates to great efficiency for you, the customer. If your project does not meet your specifications, you don't pay.

Kaiser3D is a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers & mentioned in 3D Scanning Technologies magazine, Dec. 2008 issue.
